We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced contract manager to join our busy team. We provide all hard and soft FM services for the 6 secure Police investigation sites across the Two Counties Police Investigation Centres Project in Norfolk & Suffolk operating under a PFI Contract. Tascor is part of the Capita Group, operating in the Hard & Soft Facility Management Industry on high security sites.
The successful candidate will lead the on-site Tascor service delivery teams providing an active and visible presence on site to ensure the delivery of professional, excellent services to our client, and developing and maintaining constructive customer relationships. Working under direction from the Head of PFI, in a progressive, dynamic, and flexible way you will manage the service delivery teams to ensure contractual and statutory compliance, best value and operational effectiveness are provided within budget to the client.
This is an on-site role primarily based at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre Norfolk, with weekly travel visiting and managing the other sites.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing :
* Develop and maintain effective customer relationships and partnerships acting as the interface between Tascor and the clients.
* Develop and maintain effective liaison with Authority Contract Representatives, Tascor Senior Management; Project Co Representatives, Suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure high quality integrated services which supports the client’s business through a clear understanding of their operational and administrative imperatives and constraints.
* Ensure contractual agreements and records are always documented and current.
* Maximise contract margin without compromising service delivery.
* Review and agree monthly P + L information.
* Prepare accurate annual budget and monthly contract forecasts updates in line with financial timetables and agree with Tascor Finance Team
* Develop, maintain, implement and monitor Quality (ISO 9001); Environmental (ISO 14001); and Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001) to ensure and maintain external accreditation to applicable ISO standards for the contractual period.
* Understanding and annual delivery of asset Life Cycle Management plan including management and delivery of contract variation works/projects.
* Direct staff in the day-to-day provision of FM services including Estates and Facilities Management; Grounds Maintenance; Cleaning, Waste and Pest Control Services; Staff, Visitors and Detainee Catering Services; Utilities and Energy Management.
What we’re looking for :
* Technical qualification required e.g., HNC / ONC in a building / engineering subject.
* Full clean driving license.
* Experience of operating within a PFI environment at a Contract Management Level.
* Knowledge and understanding of Building, Electrical & Mechanical Regulations.
* Health and Safety trained with knowledge of Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
* Full P&L responsibility and experience of managing a direct FM workforce and contracted out services.
Please note - due to the nature of this role and the security vetting level required candidates are required to have been living in the UK as a resident for the last 3 years.
