Nurse Manager Band 8a, Full time (37 hours) – Secondment- Radiology, Outpatient Departments and Secondary Care Hubs across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Two exciting opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic Senior Nurses with excellent leadership skills to apply for the above positions of Nurse Manager, for Clinical Support Services within the portfolio of Integrated Specialist Care in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced nurses who will embrace this dynamic and challenging role.
These posts are pivotal in providing professional and operational leadership to the nursing teams. To ensure that the highest standards of practice are maintained and that safe effective person-centered care is delivered to the highest standard.
The successful candidates will have the skill and vision to develop a first-class nursing service with a can-do attitude focused on achieving a performance that ensures a high quality, safe patient experience.
The post holders will work closely with the Portfolio leadership team including the Portfolio Managers, Deputy and Chief Nurse, Clinical Directors, and service teams.
As a member of the nursing leadership team, the applicants will provide clinical expertise and ensure the day-to-day operation of services. They will promote, develop and manage designated teams to facilitate the delivery of appropriate care to the patient population to local and national standards.
The post holders will take a lead role in working with the Senior Charge Nurses to deliver person-centered, quality care. The post holders will provide care assurance and the delivery of safe, quality nursing services, to the Chief Nurse and across the organization.
The applicants will require being educated to degree level and have substantial post-registration experience in a clinical/managerial setting.
