Responsibilities
1. Efficient Management: Oversee the entire catering contract to ensure consistent, high-quality food and beverage services.
2. Client Relationships: Maintain a positive relationship with the client, communicating regularly to understand their needs and any changes.
3. Team Leadership: Manage, recruit, develop, and train team members, including handling sickness, conducting performance reviews, and providing necessary training.
4. Budget Accountability: Manage labour spend and food costs, working with your Area Manager to meet financial budgets proactively.
5. Service Planning: Ensure smooth planning of the contract and resources to deliver exceptional service to clients and customers.
6. Compliance: Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative/regulatory requirements (e.g., allergens, kcal, PPDS).
Qualifications
1. Experience: Previous experience in contract catering in a healthcare environment or a similar role is preferred, but we offer training for those with transferrable skills.
2. Kitchen Proficiency: Experience working in a kitchen environment, adhering to recipes and menu plans.
3. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, motivating them to achieve success.
4. Client Management: Experience in managing client relationships.
5. Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels.
6. Results-Oriented: Quality and process driven with a focus on delivering results.
7. Compliance: Knowledgeable about company policies and procedures, especially in line with client agreements.
8. IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and email.
