An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer/Coordinator to join the team at their head office in Hertfordshire.
The position will report directly to the Pre-Construction Director.
Responsibilities:
* Recognise client needs within both the private and social housing markets, and apply this insight when preparing bids and tender submissions to achieve successful outcomes.
* Respond effectively to OJEU notices, invitations to tender, and development bids by producing high-quality PQQs, ITT submissions, and bid documents tailored to meet the specific requirements of the client’s enquiry.
* Develop creative and innovative solutions, offering commercial value.
* Prepare concise, attractive documents that deliver the message and enhance the chances of winning the bid.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to key clients, building strong relationships and establishing credibility as a professional team member with the technical expertise to support the bid.
* Collaborate with the Business Development department, Construction Managers, Design Coordinators, Estimators, and Buyers to develop successful bid and tender documents.
* Ensure that all publication processes and systems, including the computerisation of functions, are compatible with bid and tender submission documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Audit and review submission documents, and maintain a library of current technical and commercial information in collaboration with other team members.
