Summary of Position:
NVE Experience Agency seeks a Head of Events for London, on a temporary basis, who is a problem solver and strong team leader. This role is focussed in leading and growing our UK presence, and providing leadership level production oversight of NVE London’s leading events & experiences. The role will also include Executive Producing on the London offices’ tentpole projects.
The Head of Events provides guidance in developing ideas and concepts, creating executable plans, managing project timelines, approving budgets, overseeing profitability and forecasting staffing needs to ensure projects are flawlessly executed within our target margin. Strategic thinking, professionalism, clear decision making and grace under pressure are key attributes required for this position.

This is a temporary role slated through 2025.
Job Responsibilities:
* Client Management
o Ensure that all client needs are heard, understood, and addressed in a timely manner
o Provide clear communications to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget and schedules for assigned programs
* Budget Management
o Review and oversee the development of project budgets
o Oversee reconciliation process for all costs against budgets
o Support our finance group by ensuring you and your teams are closing out projects in a timely and efficient manner
o Meet with team to set target margins for each project and ensure those margins are being met
o Maintain accountability, reviewing & approving budget estimates, and ensuring profitability targets are maintained through final budget reconciliations.
* Team Management
o Work closely with NVE Global Production leadership to oversee London training and development plans for London production team
o Have regular check-ins with your teams to provide feedback in timely manner
o Foster a productive team environment that encourages collaboration and process to ensure all deliverables are meet
o Provide ongoing mentorship, and training sessions to further grow each individual's career
o Ensure all team members are on-boarding temporary production staff in accordance with company policy
o Protect resources on projects accurately utilizing internal and external resources
* Executive Production
o Lead the execution of large-scale, complex events
o Act as the senior escalation point for major project challenges, offering strategic solutions.
o Define roles and responsibilities within the project team to ensure efficient execution.
o Maintain strong internal and external relationships to facilitate project success.
o Implement financial forecasting and revenue projections to support long-term event planning.
o Oversee project budgets and ensure financial efficiency across projects.
o Develop and maintain production schedules and project documentation.
o Ensure adherence to project milestones, timelines, and quality standards.
o Manage project resources to ensure operational excellence.
o Provide financial oversight, ensuring profitability and strategic alignment with business goals.
o Develop crisis response plans and contingency strategies for potential production challenges.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards, sustainability practices, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of proven event industry production experience required
* Executive Producer experience is seen as a positive but not essential
* Agency experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously
* B2B Live event production experience
* Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
* 4-5 years of management or supervisory experience
* Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
* Leadership and coaching skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
* Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment
* Excellent computer skills, Microsoft and Apple applications
Requirements :
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite
* Available to travel up to 25% for event delivery & internal offsites.
Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles, New York City, and London, UK. This employee must be located in the UK and able to travel to the London NVE workspace regularly.
