Based: Livingston (Hybrid)
Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are recruiting for our client, a successful organisation within the Construction sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales & Account Manager to join their already successful Sales team, to support further business growth.
This role will be based between working in the office in Livingston and also working hybrid remotely and you will target markets across Scotland, North England and Northern Ireland. You will account manage existing key customer accounts as well as identifying and developing relationships with new customers.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Outbound Sales Activities: Engage in proactive outreach to identify and generate new business opportunities within the House Developer market.
2. Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with potential and existing clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
3. Assess Current and Inbound Opportunities: Examine the current prospects and leads in the sales pipeline together with new inbound leads. Follow up and focus on securing new order intake.
4. Evaluate Historical Data: Look at previous sales data and customer interactions to spot successful tactics and identify areas of improvement.
5. Preparing Quotations: Prepare quotations and follow up with customers throughout the sales cycle.
6. Identify Gaps: Identify any areas in the existing pipeline where opportunities may be stalling or underdeveloped. Look for common trends or obstacles that might be slowing the sales process.
7. Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by leveraging effective sales strategies, understanding customer needs, and offering tailored solutions.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing and design teams to create solutions, including quotations and designs aligned to customer needs.
Background Required:
1. Strong sales and account management experience, ideally from the Construction House Developer market.
2. Able to demonstrate a successful track record of sales achievements within an environment that has a mixture of short, medium, and long sales cycles.
3. Experience in prospecting, sourcing leads, new contacts and identifying potential new business.
4. Previous experience in selling solutions and bespoke projects, products &/or services.
5. Strong commercial and negotiation acumen, preferably developed in a multi-stakeholder environment.
6. Exceptional communication skills, able to provide excellent service levels to customers and internal colleagues.
7. Able to multi-task and manage multiple sales processes at different stages of the sales cycle.
8. Confident IT skills including CRM and sales systems plus MS Office.
9. Excellent team player, comfortable working in a small, supportive team environment with a "can do" and flexible attitude.
