About The Role One Aftersales are recruiting for a Warehouse Planning Efficiency & Operations Manager on a full time permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Parts Supply Chain, you will have two direct reports and be based at our distribution centre in Dordon, Warwickshire. What you could be doing: Coordinating the activities with the 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) and steer them in order to achieve and exceed the core KPIs related to warehouse management & transport management for Group Parts Logistics. Ensure the parts are handed over to the transport company in timely manner and distributed as planned per required quality standards. Creation and implementation of processes and models within warehouse & distribution operations to ensure optimisation of costs and efficiencies. Will have the responsibility to implement strategic projects. Skills & experience you can bring to the role: Proven experience in managing warehouse and distribution operations In depth knowledge of warehouse management & transportation and an understanding of SAP Strategic thinker - ability to think long-term and be creative and innovative Contract management experience with the ability to organise and steer the 3PL service providers Well-proven communication skills & ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels Capability to deliver within budget & be proactive in identifying and implementing areas and processes for improvement Dordon Volkswagen Group operates a 64,000 sq mts distribution centre in Dordon, which handles the distribution of all spare parts requirements for the UK market to over 800 sites including TPS (Trade Parts Specialists) and 90 sites across Republic of Ireland.
