Remuneration £53,000 to £58,000 per year The Opportunity We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Burmuda Park. You will work alongside an Advanced Practitioner in Surgery; our experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon is highly skilled in advanced surgery. We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to complement the current team, someone with 2 - 4 years experience, a love for client care as well as patient care. We are proud to offer an orthopaedic service for pets in the local area, alongside being an all round GP practice. The practice has a very experienced team, consisting of a Practice Manager/RVN, two further RVNs, two SVNs, a VCA and 3 Receptionists, who are exposed to a variety of cases on a day to day basis. Our spacious premises comes well-equipped with facilities such as two operating theatres, dental suite, digital Xray suit, separate dog and cat wards, four consulting rooms. There is also doppler ultrasound, extensive surgical equipment, in house lab with two biochemistry and haematology machines. Bermuda Park in Nuneaton Midlands, is in a convenient central location. The practice is on a retail park with an abundance of eating places and was built only 2 years ago and is a modern high spec practice. The client base migrated from a practice the Branch Partner ran for 16 years so the client base that is growing every month is very established. Applicants with an interest in any area are welcome however a bias to medicine, dentistry or dermatology would especially be welcome. Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community. Your Skills and Experience RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon. Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills. Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture. Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
