Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' and families' housing needs and risks of homelessness.
Develop and implement personalized housing support plans that address immediate needs and long-term goals.
Provide information and guidance on housing options, benefits, and entitlements available to clients.
Coordinate with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support services are accessible to clients.
Monitor and review client progress and adjust housing support plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and case notes according to organizational standards.
Advocate for clients, representing their interests in discussions with landlords, agencies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
A relevant qualification in social work, housing management, or a related field.
Proven experience in housing options, homelessness prevention, or social services.
Strong understanding of housing legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse populations.
Problem-solving skills with a strong focus on client-centered solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £18.15
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
