The post will have the following components :- Regular outpatient clinics for children referred for neuro-developmental concerns, including children with complex neuro-disabilities. Multi-agency liaison and district admin to facilitate the complex Neurodisability work Out-patient clinics for Initial Health assessments for Looked After Children, as required Assessment of acute child protection referrals for physical injuries on a rota basis with other colleagues. Departmental governance and teaching activities, including clinical supervision of paediatric trainees The Consultant will assume a direct clinical role within the Department sharing all facilities and workload equally with the present Consultants. The post holder will have continuing responsibility for the development of the Department. The post holder will undertake administrative duties associated with the running of their clinical work. The post holder will be expected to take full part in professional and governance activities including training and quality assessment activities. There will also be involvement in administrative duties within the Directorate as required within the responsibilities of this post.
