Health, Safety and Sustainability Lead (part-time & contract)
The role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and sustainability initiatives within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a culture of safety, and drives sustainability efforts to reduce environmental impact and enhance corporate responsibility.
Applicants must have extensive manufacturing/industrial environment experience, be available start in April and looking for 2-3 days pw.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and industry standards
Write and maintain RAMS for both factory and site execution.
Lead investigations
Create regular reporting dashboards
Manage occupational health surveillance assessments
Develop and implement sustainability strategiesRate
£300 - £350 pd

Significant experience in health and safety management in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to conduct training, lead investigations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, with the ability to translate guidance into a practical way of working.
