Main Purpose: To provide high quality of nursing care. To identify and formulate individual care plans to meet the health, social and well-being needs of the service users
Scope: Responsible to the Manager, Deputy Manager and Proprietor.
Main Duties:
To provide a high standard of direct nursing care to the service user’s, based on an assessment of care needs and in consultation with the service user, their relatives and the care team.
To continuously evaluate the quality of care given, and regularly reassess the needs of the service user in consultation with the service user, their relatives and the care team and to effect change required to achieve the planned goals.
To administer medications safely and order medications where necessary.
To liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
Care planning; risk assessments; implementation of care plans.
To keep the next of kin informed of significant changes in a service users condition.
To work closely with members of the care team, ensuring that effective, high quality care is delivered to achieve planned goals. To ensure the smooth running of the shift.
To supervise junior members of the team and carry out field observations to promote high quality care.
To continuously review your own nursing practices to develop new skills and knowledge through continuous professional development training that contribute to the enhancement of person centered care skills.
To ensure support is given to the service users and their families where applicable with regards to their religion, cultural, emotional and psychological and well-being needs.
To ensure the effective and efficient use of all home resources.
To work within the NMC codes of conduct and scope of practice and within the home’s policies and procedures.
To attend and participate in relevant staff meetings and training sessions.

Pay: £19.00 per hour
