Please read on and apply today if so… The Opportunity Our client is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of the Offshore contracts for a major project. The role As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working alongside the Workstream lead, this role will support the successful completion of the delivery milestones associated the development phase inclusive of risks and interfaces and supply chain engagement. The ideal candidate will ensure that the Project is technically robust, operable and safe. This is a Contract role and has been deemed inside IR35 (PAYE) Duration: 12 months Remote, occasional travel to Brentford Your duties and responsibilities will be Provide technical support and assurance across the HVDC workstream areas. Confirm EPC contracts meet employers’ requirements and constraints. Arrange and lead design reviews including operability and performance. Provide support to ensure the project achieves financial close. Manage EPC interfaces and risks. Engage heavily with stakeholders, communicating effectively at senior leadership and board levels. Ensure alignment with supply chain and HVDC technology requirements associated with the project. Adopt a hands-on approach to manage and resolve project challenges.You will have the following qualifications and experience Degree qualified and extensive experience in relevant sector. Experience in the Power sector Proven experience in HVDC transmission, cabling and subsea installation, canyon crossing and fibre optic technology. Strong knowledge and working experience of offshore contracts and supply chain. Demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership and board members. In-depth understanding of supply chain and technology relevant to the workstream. Commercial acumen to support the EPC contract development and negotiation process. Hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving attitude. Excellent leadership and management skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strategic thinking and planning capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.The setting for the role The role is predominantly remote, with occasional trips to the office in Brentford.
