Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing and transactions.
* Develop and lead financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with business goals.
* Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Provide actionable insights to boost financial performance and support decision-making.
* Manage liquidity, cash flow, and financial risks, ensuring healthy financial stability.
* Occasionally execute accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in all business transactions.
* Process payments and prepare timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Group accounting standards.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
* Lead the budgeting process, ensuring accurate and strategic resource allocation.
* Implement and track cost-saving measures to optimise organisational spending.
* Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
Financial Reporting:
* Establish and uphold financial policies and procedures aligned with group guidelines.
* Prepare precise financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
* Coordinate with external partners for tax preparation, audits, and banking services.
* Collaborate with external auditors, ensuring smooth and compliant audit processes.
Compliance & Risk Management:
* Ensure full compliance with local and group financial regulations.
* Strengthen internal controls, safeguarding financial integrity and policy compliance.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks, staying current with tax laws and industry best practices.
Team Leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, Purchasing) to ensure cohesive financial strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement within the finance function.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
* At least 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, including 2 years in a managerial capacity.
* In-depth knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory standards.
* Proficiency in financial software (e.g., BC, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly.
* Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
