JOB OVERVIEW Responsible for manufacture processes of buoyancy and ballast products, adhering to strict QHSE protocols. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Preparation of panels ready for assembly ensuring in correct order and no defects are identified. Cutting material into shape using CAD files. Manufacture webbing strops using industrial sewing machine. Attending training courses as required. HF Welding material together. Rigging, including inflating bag, pressure test, attaching correct rig to bag (strops, shackles, metal work). Adhering to strict quality control throughout entire process. Servicing bags, including inflating, testing, inspecting, repairing and replacing items where required. Active commitment to QHSSE, including compliance with QHSSE Policies, and supporting documentation contained within the IMS, as well as adhering to and reporting to management on all aspects of the QHSSE Management System. Understand deadline requirements and work efficiently to achieve them. STOP an activity, at any time, if believed to be unsafe or failing to meet the relevant QHSSE requirements. SKILLS Able to follow assembly instructions, both drawn and written. Ability to work both alone and as part of a team. Able to identify errors with CAD drawings. Able to maximise material usage and limit waste product. Able to follow verbal instructions and seek clarification when unsure. Ability to work responsibly, effectively and efficiently under pressure. Must have a keen eye for quality.
