Key Responsibilities:
1. Project cost responsibilities - ensure contribution is achieved.
2. Ensure sub-contractors engaged are compliant.
3. Prelims overview throughout the project as agreed during pre-construction.
4. Project programme responsibilities - ensure programmes are developed at tender stage including Contract and Construction programmes.
5. Use defined matrices and prepare Blue Beams efficiently.
6. Ensure all aspects of the PCS are completed and then monitor during the project.
7. Engage with Pre-construction to ensure project PCS's are completed prior to award.
8. Value engineering across all elements of the design process.
9. Team leadership - all aspects - Client, Consultants, Sub-contractors, Statutory Authorities and TSL team.
10. Has a clear vision of where to go and the ability to articulate it.
11. Empowers people to contribute to TSL's vision.
12. Great communicator who captures the imagination, generating trust and commitment.
13. Represents TSL to external stakeholders to influence key policy and change (e.g. supply chain, clients, consultants).
14. Develops and reviews organisational capability, cascades the business objectives to drive performance throughout their business area.
15. Conducts meaningful career development discussions and coaches potential in the team, in line with succession plans.
16. Variations - assessment and control.
17. Ensure review of EoT requirements.
18. Contract - review and understand amendments and their implications.
19. Final accounts - all aspects - Client and supply chain.
20. Close out of the Projects to ensure seamless handover including PC Checklists and Building Control.

28. Works with senior leaders to ensure alignment with legislation or policy to deliver best practice.
29. Adapts services and systems accordingly.
30. Operates as a subject matter expert in relevant area of expertise and/or sectors that TSL operates within.
31. Translates business strategy into meaningful plans and objectives to provide direction for the department and team.
32. Consistently meets the expectations of board and senior leaders, in the production of reports and presentations.
33. Uses effective coaching and development techniques to enable team members to achieve their potential.
