Antac is a leading provider of high-quality Facility services to a diverse range of sectors, including the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Our support to MoD Housing contracts has seen a significant amount of growth over recent years, and this is continuing as we start 2025! We have recently been awarded a brand new area across Aldershot to provide operational support in the preparation and maintenance of Service Family Accommodation throughout the area. With a dedicated workforce of 500 professionals strategically based across the UK, Antac is committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and tailored solutions that meet the unique demands of each sector.
Within our delivery model, we are looking to appoint 2 x Delivery Managers who will be responsible for overseeing both void and reactive maintenance teams within their respective areas. You will be responsible for managing the operation teams to ensure that adequate response is available to meet the scheduling demands, ensuring that void move-ins are on track to be completed and reactive tasks are scheduled and resolved within the agreed timeframes.
You will need to work closely with the Scheduling Manager, Delivery Managers, and Area Manager to ensure that all teams are working in collaboration with one another to meet the deadlines of the client, as well as ensuring that operational teams have clear expectations at all times.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
* You will be responsible for overseeing your operations team within the assigned area to ensure that both void and response work is being completed on time and to a high standard at all times.
* Oversee Reactive Tracker and Void Housing Trackers in Maximo to make sure that contractual targets are consistently met.
* Report on performance for void housing and reactive maintenance against schedules, and then communicate this to senior leadership to demonstrate the performance of your area.
* Provide feedback on inspection failures and share lessons learned to improve team performance.
* Monitor work allocation, ensuring operatives have sufficient tasks; escalate shortages to the scheduling team and ensure that these are rectified where possible.
* Plan resources effectively, ensuring adequate staffing for future workloads. Support with the recruitment and onboarding of operatives within the team if required.
* Manage holiday schedules for direct staff and trades, ensuring sufficient coverage during peak times.
* Conduct performance management reviews and one-to-one meetings, identifying training, development areas, and progression opportunities within the team.
* Liaise with the client to maintain alignment, share best practice, and review.
* Participate in the monthly on-call rota, supporting for one week each month.
* Maintain key relationships with the Operations Supervisor (managing trades on the ground) and Scheduling Manager (work scheduling).
* Liaise with the Office manager on all onboarding and induction of new starters, ensuring Right to Work and BPSS checks are completed.
* Ensure Health & Safety toolbox talks are conducted and completed with the team.
Experience Required:
* You must have proven experience as a team manager within maintenance or housing contracts and be able to lead a high performing team.
* The delivery manager will have operational responsibility for the operatives, so you must have experience in managing workforce allocation, resource planning, performance management, and training and development.
* To be successful in the role you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally.
* Able to manage systems (such as Maximo) and interpret the data to make decisions related to the contract.
* You will ideally have worked within the trade environment yourself to be able to understand what is required from the team on a day-to-day basis to complete the job.
* Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities. The contract requirements can regularly change, and it is important that the manager is able to communicate this effectively to the team to ensure that they understand their deliverables and expectations at all times.
* Strong problem-solving ability to overcome challenges and find solutions to any issues that may arise.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations in maintenance environments.
* Valid driving license.
