The SCC Academy has gone through a number of positive changes recently and you can be part of this continuing success. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role for the safeguarding of individuals and vulnerable adults. Key responsibilities: Liaising with external stakeholders to ensure administration requirements are diligently tracked and monitored. Support the SCC Academy team to ensure all administration requirements are being actioned. Provide administrative support and assistance to SCC Academy employees. Produce standard letters and documents from draft. Undertake routine clerical activities/duties, e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing, completing routine forms. Maintain and create Excel dashboards. Maintaining compliance with GDPR, data protection laws and requirements. Be a point of contact for students requiring support and referring them to appropriate staff. Promote the welfare of all staff and students and to be committed to promoting diversity, inclusion and safeguarding. Undertake reception duties: receive visitors, receive and deal with telephone calls. Greeting attendees, visitors and following sign in security protocols. Taking ownership of day to day running of the academy and taking initiative to ensure daily issues are resolved. Skills and experience: Proven experience/background in an administration role Fully compliant with GDPR, data protection laws and requirements. A good working knowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint. Experience of diary management. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Good time management skills. Ability to organise and prioritise own workload. Ability to self-evaluate own learning needs and actively seek to develop these. Ability to work independently & as a team Able to build good working relationships at all levels – students, coaches, senior management, board of trustees etc.
