Igloo has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Smart Repair Technician to work with our client in Plymouth. The successful candidates will be working on behalf of an established business that boasts the largest network of accredited Smart Repair Technicians in the country.
The Role:
As a Smart Repair Technician, you will carry out repairs on a mobile basis, ensuring that a high-quality service is provided for the customer every time. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below tasks:
1. Deliver a high standard of customer service to all customers
2. Explain the process of the repair to the customer before you begin
3. Always follow health and safety measures
4. Take card payments
5. Advise and provide aftercare/insurance material
6. Alloy wheel refurbishment
7. Diamond cut and shadow chrome repairs
8. Bumper corner repairs
9. Wing mirror repairs
10. Painted trim repairs
11. Panel repairs – no more than two panels on one side
12. Touch in chips on the bonnet
13. Report to the Technical Operations Manager
What kind of person are we looking for:
1. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and previous experience of working within a smart repair role.
2. Demonstrate a good and sound understanding of all Smart repair processes.
3. Will need to be hard-working and reliable.
4. Have the attitude of producing high-quality finishes, first time, every time.
5. Be able to work well under their own esteem as well as part of the team.
6. Hold a category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
7. ATA or IMI accredited is desirable but by no means essential.
8. Excellent communication and time management skills.
