About the Role
1. Location: Longley Lane, Manchester
2. Salary: £46,420
3. Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00
4. Benefits: Van + 10% Bonus + 5% Pension + Holidays + Sick Pay + More
What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer?
5. Taking lead on all electrical tasks and offering support for mechanical issues where required, ensuring all plant machinery meets regulatory requirements.
6. Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
7. Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns.
8. Travelling to other sites in the area when there are operational requirements, including installation works.
9. Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development.
What are the requirements?
10. NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
11. 18th edition qualification
12. Previous experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, VSD/VFD, Estop circuits, domestic installations etc.
13. Able to read Schematic drawings.
