You will be joining a team of 12 GPs, 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 1 Nurse Practitioner providing acute appointments, Practice Pharmacist, four Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, and Trainee Nurse Associate.

Main Duties of the Job

* Knowledge of and experience of managing long-term conditions
* The ability to work autonomously
* Support in attainment of annual QOF targets
About Us
Queens Road Surgery is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, patient-focused practice team.
Previous experience in minor illness and triage in a primary care health experience is essential. You must be able to demonstrate safe clinical decision-making for patients acting within professional boundaries.
Applicants must have completed their non-medical prescribing and be confident working autonomously in primary care, as well as under the guidance of our GPs.
The post holder will be an experienced NP who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.
They will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.
*There may be some cross-site working required with Moorside Branch Surgery.*
