Main Duties & Accountabilities: You will set a clear direction for the EMEIA HR community that will engage and motivate across all relevant locations. To know the talent within EMEIA and deliver a diverse leading-edge Talent strategy that attracts and develops best in class capability Be seen as a thought leader of HR best practice using innovative and creative thinking, driving the development of the ASSA ABLOY employer brand internally and externally Develop high levels of collaboration within the EMEIA Division, so that service excellence is achieved both strategically and operationally Sustain a positive Employee Relations strategy, managing the relationship with the European Works Council of ASSA ABLOY (EWC), fostering open communication and constructive dialogue Support the Business Board Leadership, through functional expertise and organisational design to achieve the fulfillment of our organisational ambitions Coach and mentor members of the Senior Team, being a trusted confidante who can add real value to the leadership and management challenges that the business faces Pro-actively deliver compensation, organisational design, performance management and strategies for workforce planning, deployment and retention, in order to address current and future expansion needs Deliver, facilitate and continuously develop strategic learning & development programmes Drive the implementation and deployment of effective corporate HR procedures, policies, systems, standards and infrastructures, in order to ensure a systematic and integrated approach to HR solutions across the EMEIA Division Ensure HR procedures are in compliance with the highest ethics, professional standards and employment laws Represent EMEIA in the wider ASSA ABLOY Group HR Board forum Able to devise and deliver a compelling HR strategy and convert plans into on-the-ground results Deliver year on year operational improvements. Specifically, diversity ratios, employee productivity, internal promotions and employee engagement Education, Work Experience And Personal Qualities Educated to degree level in Business, Labour relations, Organisational Development or a similar discipline. A Master’s in Business would be an advantage. Professionally qualified, CIPD or regional equivalent (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development) Significant previous experience in a Senior Human Resources role Demonstrated ability to operate across different countries and cultures A proven leader, who can achieve results through inspiration, a can-do results-orientated style and a genuine interest in the wider business An HR generalist with a track record of delivering high quality HR services in a complex and matrixed organisational environment Strong Talent Management experience with the ability to bring fresh thinking and ideas to the agenda Ideally, Trade Union and employee relations experience as part of a wider Employee Engagement programme A strong bias for action and a keen sense of urgency to drive results Energetic with a desire to seek out what is possible in terms of new approaches Can see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive and diverse workforce Trustworthy An excellent team player, but able to work successfully as an individual Exceptional interpersonal skills We review applications regularly, so don’t wait We are building diverse, inclusive teams, and encourage applications from everyone who can see themselves working with us.
