Frozen Network Manager - Food Service Logistics
At Food Service Logistics (FSL) Safety, People and Service for our customer are at the heart of everything we do. We complete over 5,000 deliveries per week of chilled and ambient products for a well-known International Coffee brand.
The Role
In partnership with our customer, we have introduced a frozen delivery solution into our network, and we are seeking a highly skilled Frozen Network Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee our frozen operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and drive efficiencies ensuring the newly introduced frozen operation is optimal for a network wide roll out.
* Be able to track performance through effective KPI reporting, status updates identifying areas for improvement
* Collaborate with the site teams to integrate the frozen operation into BAU.
* Evaluate and track the warehouse performance through the roll out across the network
* Work with the operational structure to understand future stock holding requirements and predict any potential capacity constraints
* Be able to identify opportunities of business integration to give our customer value
The Person
* Able to manage a project and have the ability to communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders
* HACCP certification and Transport manager CPC are desirable
* Demonstrable people management skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management
* Ability to travel between sites including customer locations
* Previous transport and/or warehouse operations management required

Salary
£55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
