Position Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position within the Medical Equipment Management Service at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh to support the delivery of a medical equipment management service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support as part of a team carrying out service and repair work on a wide range of medical devices.
2. Ensure the day-to-day running of the service.
3. Work effectively within a team and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
4. Travel and work at various hospitals and clinics in Lothian as required.
Qualifications and Skills
You will be qualified to SCQF level 7, or higher, in an electrical/electronic discipline, or have equivalent training and experience. We are looking for applicants who are self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team to ensure the day-to-day running of the service. Good interpersonal skills are essential, as is a flexible and methodical approach to the required tasks.
