Position is responsible for performing diagnostic assessments, developing service plans, and providing effective treatment services (including therapy) to youth with mental health disorders referred from Winchester City Public Schools. The incumbent completes intake assessments, makes appropriate referrals to NWCS staff (case manager, psychiatrist, therapist, etc.), and staffs referrals with the referring agency in detail.
In the accomplishment of the position’s major duties and responsibilities, the incumbent is expected to exercise sound judgment and clinical skill, demonstrate initiative and leadership, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality with client information. It is further expected that the incumbent will maintain proactive cooperative working relationships with community agencies and facilities serving children, youth, and families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master’s degree in a relevant human services field required
* One year of clinical experience in working with youth and their families required
* LPC, LCSW, LMFT license or license eligible required
* Must possess a valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and the ability to provide your transportation
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* May be exposed to allergenic environments from clients' homes, including extreme heat, humidity, dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc.
* May be exposed to clients with infectious diseases
* Must be able to drive for long periods of time to visit clients in and out of the catchment area as needed
* Must be able to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles
* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
* Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds at times
SALARY: $60,577.00
