The Role:
We are recruiting a Customer Service Administrator to join the Cars team at our Longridge, Preston site. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you will act as a point of contact for customers buying or selling auction or scrap vehicles during a period of significant change in our established recycling business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service via telephone for Scrap Car Network and Raw2k customers.
* Address customer queries and questions.
* Handle inbound phone calls regarding queries.
* Make outbound calls on leads to convert them into sales.
* Maintain relevant KPI information as required.
* Resolve complaints at the first point of contact and escalate unresolved issues.
* Identify and suggest improvements to reduce repeat calls.
* Ensure timely action on all email correspondence.
* Book and rearrange collections considering client and driver convenience.
* Adhere to agreed call standards and build excellent relationships with the public and drivers.
* Navigate and input information through various systems to progress collections.
* Complete assigned work within provided timescales.
The successful candidate:
An experienced administrator with customer service knowledge, adept at managing high volumes and conflicting priorities.
