Job summary The Trauma & Orthopaedic Department of Doncaster Royal Infirmary & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Specialty Doctor in order to expand the current service. The post holder is expected to work in a team of twenty one Consultants, eleven Staff and Associate Specialist Surgeons (this post being the twelfth), Five Specialty Trainees and three International Trainees in order to deliver clinical care of a high quality to Trauma & Orthopaedic patients at one of the busiest District General Hospital Trusts in England. Main duties of the job The principle role of the post-holder is to be an active member of the team. The post-holder is expected to undertake clinics and contribute time and effort to the day-to-day clinical matters that may arise. The post-holder is expected to take a teamwork approach to relationships with other departments, clinic and theatre staff. There will be prospective cover for annual and study leave. The post-holder is invited to contribute to academic, audit and clinical governance issues within the department and the Trust.
