We are working with a well-established IFA firm based in Wokingham looking to take on a new Practice Manager. Your main responsibility will be to lead the day-to-day operations of the practice, leading all support staff across both paraplanning and administration teams to ensure the practice delivers an excellent service to their clients. Practice Manager Key responsibilities: Lead and manage the operations of the firm, including administrative functions, paraplanning and client service Diary management for the Managing Directors - contacting clients, booking meetings, preparing meeting packs Supervise and support a team providing guidance, training, performance feedback & helping with any issues Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to add value Calling and booking meetings with prospective clients Plan and execute client events Liaise with 3rd party providers to ensure we receive client's funds efficiently Monitor the pipeline diligently and provide weekly updates on progress with a focus on high-priority cases Provide Management Information to the Directors during weekly meetings Collaborate with financial advisors and other team members to optimise workflow and enhance client experiences. Oversee client onboarding processes, account maintenance, and reporting activities. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency. Qualifications and experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in wealth management or financial services, with a proven track record of success in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of Financial Planning regulations Previous experience managing a team Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Detail-oriented and organised, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with wealth management software platforms (e.g. Salesforce). Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning. This will be an office-based position in Wokingham.
