About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Coordinator/Business Administrator to join our successful team at Sytner JLR Huddersfield. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge ideally relative to retail automotive Health and Safety requirements and will also Have retail automotive industry experience and knowledge Demonstrate good oral, written and IT communication skills Have the ability to make a difference through colleague engagement, coaching and support Be confident & able to take the lead in accident investigations Have a good working knowledge of relative and current Health and Safety legislation requirements. If successful you will be office based at the Huddersfield store working closely with local site management team to help identify and rectify any opportunities for improvement with support from the group Health & Safety team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the risks to both colleagues and the business are kept to a minimum and will need to ensure that the site is fully up to date with all Health & Safety documentation. The role will also include some general business administration including producing documentation for new colleagues and supporting the Head of Business on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a team.
