Senior Care Practitioner Days. Longridge Hall Care Home
Hourly Rate: £13.68 per hour
Hours: 38.5 hours per week (3-4 shifts per week on a rolling rota)
Shift Pattern: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Practitioner for day shifts to join our exceptional team. This is an opportunity to work in a well-regarded care home, offering professional development and a fulfilling role in a supportive environment.
As a Senior Care Practitioner at our home, responsibilities Include:
Delivering personal care, emotional support, and companionship to residents.
Promoting independence and enriching the lives of residents by encouraging participation in hobbies and daily activities.
Supervisory responsibilities, including staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, and supporting the Home Manager with various administrative tasks.
Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and care within the home.
Liaising with families and healthcare professionals to support the holistic care of residents.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this qualification).
Strong communication and record-keeping skills, including familiarity with digital systems.
A positive, compassionate, and calm approach, with the ability to guide and support colleagues under pressure.
Flexibility to work on a rolling rota as needed.
