Have you: Excellent knowledge of the transport industry. Previous experience in effectively engaging with drivers to promote a positive culture and improve their driving behaviour. Developed and delivered both in-cab and classroom training including CPC courses to legal standards. Used telematics to monitor and improve driver behaviour and implemented corrective actions when necessary to manage and effectively reduce risks. If you have these necessary skills to successfully deliver what we are looking for, this is the job for you Your day to day responsibilities will be Analyse driver data from digital systems including in cab telematics, regularly engaging with drivers to improve driver behaviour in regards to mpg, idling, harsh events, speeding, implementing corrective plans where required. Implement a driver challenge scheme, utilising telematics systems including the driver performance scores, and system reporting Assist in achieving full legal compliance with the Operators Licence, Health and Safety and Driver Hour Regulations Design, develop and deliver effective driver induction and training programmes for both permanent and temporary drivers. Regularly monitor and review accordingly, ensuring statutory training requirements are met To design and implement appropriate courses to include but not limited to tachograph, manual handling, fuel management, defensive driving, load security, safety, which will be delivered through our digital learning management system, improving operational efficiency. To work with our external consultant, road safety and collision analyst in delivering tailored training based on recommendations Actively work with our customers to deliver any on-site training requirements and address any other driver concerns To undertake annual driving assessments, identifying areas of improvement and implement corrective action plans. Conduct classroom presentations on highway code, drivers hours, safe loading, health & safety, and working time directive rules and regulations which may form part of a drivers CPC qualification.
