Procurement & Insurance Co-ordinator Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid/Smart Working) £30,076 Per Annum Plus Benefits Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week Thrive Homes is looking for a Procurement & Insurance Co-ordinator to support procurement and associated contract management activities in accordance with Thrive’s Strategic Framework (including the Procurement & Contracting Policy) and operational objectives. Methodical and proactive in your approach you will administer the end-to-end procurement process with use of tendering, framework agreements, quotations and other sourcing tools to drive best value. Due to the nature of the role, it would be required for you to attend the office when asked e.g for supplier interviews and moderation sessions, as these are all in person. The expectation is at least one day a week. Other Responsibilities: To support the engagement with departmental business leads to develop their annual procurement plans, advise on routes to market and assist with appropriate pre-market engagement. To support the management of the contract with insurance brokers, overseeing day to day insurance portfolio and claims. To support the delivery of guidance, training and advice to how contracts are managed, including attending supplier meetings with them where necessary. To maintain Thrive’s procurement & insurance registers - ensuring electronic and or hard copies of contracts are kept filed as appropriate. To carry out all administrative functions as required. You will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties or projects as required by your line manager/senior manage Requirements: Your ability to role models our core behaviours is as important as technical expertise. Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong administration background Have demonstrable knowledge/experience of working in a procurement-based role would be beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
