Job Description: Delivering engaging and creative history lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Supporting, advising, guiding, and supervising students throughout the school day. Supporting classes in the absence of the timetabled staff/teacher. Delivering the cover work established in the absence of the teacher. Assist in some aspects of lesson planning if required. To have a primary focus on maintaining good order and ensuring students are on task so that learning can take place. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one. What you’ll need to succeed: Strong behaviour/classroom management.
