Are you a commercial finance director with experience of working in the charity sector? Are you able to start a 6 month contract in May? Do you enjoy providing a safe pair of hands and guide teams through change? If this is all sounding like you then we'd be keen to hear from you. Our charitable client with an incredible "reason for being" and with offices based all over the UK are looking for an interim finance director to provide leadership to 5 "heads of" in order to maintain BAU through change. Along with BAU management and due to an imminent COO departure, incoming year end, autumn government funding bid and some senior recruitment outside of finance our client is looking for a finance professional to come on board and help navigate a busy and choppy strategic period. Along with the financial stewardship you will need to have phenomenal communication skills, outstanding people and motivational skills and the ability to understand and empathise cultural challenges within an organisation with not for profit constraints. You'll be someone who enjoys performance reporting, can make informed accounting decisions and who can ensure the numbers stack up when consulted on bid proposals. This is an amazing opportunity to play a small part in an organisation that really does make a difference and whilst ideally the hire will be made on a fixed term contract basis there could be an opportunity for the right person to secure the role on a day rate basis. Whilst this is a remote role there will be an expectation that you will want to attend some of the offices around the UK so your current location is not important but some office presence will be expected. Due to the high level of applications expected for this role only shortlisted UK based applicants will be contacted with further information.
