We are looking for a part time Project Worker, on a 2 year fixed term contract, to join the System Access Point (SAP) team, who will be the first point of contact for people needing support, helping them to navigate services and access the right help for their needs. Additionally, to support the delivery of our in-house telephone befriending service.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide a welcoming first point of contact for individuals seeking support.
Offer triage screening, assessing wellbeing needs and connecting people to relevant services.
* Recruit, train, and support volunteer befrienders, ensuring they can provide meaningful assistance.
* Maintain contact with service users throughout their journey.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, stakeholders, and the wider Wellbeing Network.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a voluntary, health, or care setting.
* Strong communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office proficiency).
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and professional boundaries.
* Passion for empowering people and supporting community wellbeing.
* Experience in volunteer coordination.
* Qualifications in health, social care, or training.
* Local knowledge of the Bradford area.
