Job Description
This person is located in the office and supports the sales team to connect with suppliers, get the best prices, and submit offers to customers.
1. Maintains a good relationship with new and existing customers.
2. Creates new customer portfolio and improves the existing clientele.
3. Supports and organizes customer visits for the sales team.
4. Finds suppliers and communicates with them regarding customer needs to ensure the best service.
5. Conducts good relations with suppliers and customers.
6. Answers shipping orders and offers required pricing.
7. Prioritizes keeping profit high during sales and aims to collect payments as quickly as possible.
8. Prepares sales and marketing-related reports as requested by management.
9. Fixes about 15+ appointments per week.
10. Obtains feedback from customers and assists in solving their problems.
11. Prevents actions against economic damage related to customer-oriented situations.
12. Committed to PSA BDP’s internal procedures in filing documents.
13. Participates in department meetings and related training.
14. Acts in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
15. Follows the 'Information Assurance' requirements in all actions and ensures direct reports obey all requirements related to Information Assurance.
Job Requirements
1. Minimum of 2 years business experience in sales support or telemarketing in a freight forwarding company.
2. Fluent English – written and verbal communication; other languages are an advantage.
