Buyer
Permanent, Doncaster, £30-33K, 40 Hours per week
We are looking to recruit a Buyer for our Doncaster based client. Duties and responsibilities of the Buyer will include:
* Going out to the market place to source products based on quality and price
* Analysing prices and ensuring cost are kept within the budgets
* Managing supplier performance and KPI’s
* Support the Engineering and Technical teams with sourcing and supplying components
* Inventory management and tracking
* Stock Audits and stock reports
* Forecasting and stock availability
* Lead 5S to ensure a clean and organised workspace
To be considered for the role of Buyer you must:
* Preferably be a member of the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).
* Have previous experience within a buying role
* Hold a solid understanding of technical components
* Be well organised and be able to prioritise
* A good knowledge of Health & Safety, and experience with risk assessments and COSHH is advantageous
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
* Self-motivated with a drive for efficiency and cost savings.
