We are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated Registered Nurses to work within our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Division. Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is responsible for delivering healthcare across a large geographical area including Newport, Abergavenny, Caerphilly, Ebbw Vale, Monmouth, and Chepstow, which includes two state-of-the-art hospitals. If you are a student nurse due to qualify outside of Wales, we would love to hear from you. This post would enable applicants to access the Journey of Excellence (JoE) professional development programme aligned to the learning and development opportunities offered within the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, so you will need to participate in a flexible shift system including nights and weekends.

* Registered Mental Health Nurse / Registered Learning Disability Nurse or awaiting NMC Registration
Experience
* Evidence of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Skills
* To communicate verbally and effectively with service users, managers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
Knowledge
* Managing stress, crisis, and depression
