About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance and administrative functions. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Entering invoices accurately into VT software.
2. Matching invoices and requesting credit notes where necessary.
3. Managing purchase ledgers and ensuring all records are up to date.
4. Handling online payments and assisting with the processing, approval, and payment of invoices.
5. Checking invoices and records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
6. Recording and updating spreadsheets.
7. Responding to queries via email and phone, including reception cover.
8. Making phone calls and dealing with customer inquiries.
9. Supporting the business with general office administration and other tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role.
2. Familiarity with VT software or similar accounting packages (training can be provided).
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT competence.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
