Job Responsibilities
1. Engagement and Delivery: Design and deliver interactive sessions aimed at promoting personal development and growth among students.
2. Tailored Support: Customise sessions to address the unique needs of student groups, covering topics such as online safety, sexual violence prevention, and British Values.
3. Cross-College Coordination: Organise and lead themed weeks focusing on careers, health, wellbeing, and enrichment activities to enrich the student experience.
4. Holistic Student Development: Implement student-centered programs emphasising softer outcomes to facilitate positive progression into adulthood.
5. Employability Focus: Enhance students' work readiness through targeted initiatives and support.
6. Pastoral Support: Provide personalised pastoral tutorials, guiding students to relevant internal and external resources as needed.
7. Student Engagement: Actively support initiatives promoting student engagement and voice within the college community.
8. Team Collaboration: Assist Student Services teams with safeguarding, work experience, and careers guidance.
Minimum Requirements
1. Educational Experience: Demonstrated experience managing student groups in an educational setting, with a proven ability to engage and support diverse student populations.
2. Skills Expertise: Background in delivering support across health, wellbeing, study skills, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and employability domains.
3. Administrative Proficiency: Strong record-keeping abilities, adept at data inputting, and capable of delivering timely and accurate reports.
