We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 34 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Hours - 7.00 - 5.00 Monday to Friday 18 Whitworth Street Openshaw Manchester M11 2NJ Key Responsibilities Act as first line support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement Managing team of 3 Internal Sales Specialists Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions Develop great relationships with new and existing Customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work What's in it for you? Good financial and commercial awareness Experience of developing great customer and supplier relationships and proactively growing sales - both personally as well as establishing a strong sales culture throughout the team Strong commercial acumen, ability to identify gaps in performance and opportunities. Experience of delivering operational efficiencies and managing resources, inventory, transport, health & safety and all compliance on site Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Resilient and confident to manage conflict. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
