Job Title: Contracts Engineer (HVAC)
Reports to: Contracts Manager/Senior Contracts Manager/Operations Director
Overall Objective:
The Contracts Engineer willmanage projects from receipt of Client Order/Project Handover through to completion, ensuring efficient project progression through manufacturing and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a Contract Engineer are;
- Act as the focal point of contact after project handover to ensure smooth progression through manufacturing and delivery stages.
- Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Coordinate internally to ensure all departments are aligned with project timelines and information.
- Manage projects to maximize profitability.
- Attend internal and external meetings, as required.
- Conduct site visits and surveys, where applicable.
- Procure specific components and labor for on-site activities.
- Organize transportation and plan site work according to the project schedule.
- Prepare estimates/quotations for variations and replacement components.
- Update and maintain the ERP system (M1) and produce monthly job costings.
- Issue all necessary Health & Safety documentation, including O&M instructions and Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
- Ensure projects meet contractual obligations and assist in prompt payment collection.
- Provide ongoing customer support during the warranty period.
Requirements: Contract Engineer will have;
- Previous experience in HVAC/AHU manufacturing project management.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- IT literate, with experience using Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to commute to the office.
