Position: Full Time and Permanent (Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm)
The Role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Administrator / Secretary to join our administration team at our Swansea office. The successful candidate willprovide comprehensive administration support for both our Private Client and Commercial Business teams whilst complementing the existing skilled team of Legal Assistants and Legal Secretaries.
The Candidate:
We are keen to hear from experienced Legal Administrators or Legal Secretaries with a minimum of 2 years previous experience of working in a legal background and have an interest in developing their skills within these areas of expertise. Consideration will also be given to individuals who have transferrable skills and knowledge gained from either education or other employment. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh would be desirable but not essential for this role.
Key responsibilities:
* Creating and amending documents and letters
* Maintaining both hard and soft copies of client files
* Opening and closing files
* Photocopying
* Answering calls and taking messages where necessary
* Arranging meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
* Diary management
* Raising monthly invoices for legal services
* Dealing with client enquiries
Skills
* Ability to type accurately
* Ability to turn around large documents at speed
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Flexible approach
* Experience of digital dictation systems
* Typing speed above 65wpm
