Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with senior colleagues to prepare monthly management accounts, developing expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a fast-moving environment.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting, delivering insightful analysis to guide decision-making.
* Take responsibility for VAT returns and statutory reporting processes.
* Support the smooth running of accounts payable and receivable functions.
* Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting the business's growth.
* Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to drive efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience
* Actively working towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a finance role, ideally within an FMCG or fast-paced environment.
* Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively.
* Confident managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
