Job Title: Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Havant Thicket, UK
Type: Permanent, 5 days a week on-site
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and wellbeing for the Future Water MJJV Havant Thicket Reservoir project. The role involves setting industry-leading standards and ensuring that those standards are developed, implemented, and maintained. This will require close collaboration with our client's representatives, the project management teams, and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the project to be an exemplar in safety, aligning with the client's Health, Safety, and Wellbeing objectives.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and provide ongoing support to project teams.
Monitor and control health and safety risks, hazards, and ensure compliance with legislation, industry best practices, and guidance.
Engage with teams to communicate safety requirements and address concerns.
Conduct assurance and incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Provide expert advice and detailed reports on health, safety, and wellbeing matters.
Deliver regular inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to safety and wellbeing protocols.
What Our Client is Looking For:
Proven leadership skills in managing multi-disciplinary teams within a construction environment (civil engineering).
Extensive experience in the application of health and safety legislation and industry best practices, particularly in construction and civil engineering.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and enforce safety standards at all levels of the organisation.
In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations, construction safety, and temporary works.
Experience working in a joint venture (JV) environment is desirable.
A robust approach with high integrity and the ability to handle pressure while maintaining quality standards.

Eligibility:
NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 equivalent (Essential).
CMIOSH with 2 years' post-qualification experience (Essential).
CSCS card - Manager or Academically Qualified (Essential).
Full UK driving licence (Essential).
SEATS (Desirable).
