GP partner or salaried GP, Anstruther, Fife.
5-6 sessions ideally but other levels of commitment would be considered.
We are a well established, friendly seaside Practice on the beautiful North East coast of Fife, Scotland. We have a vacancy for a GP to join our team, ideally in a permanent position as a partner or salaried GP. A long term locum would also be considered. Ideally we would be looking for at least 5 sessions but we are able to be flexible around the number of sessions worked and also which days would be worked. We understand that balancing work and family life can be difficult and we would consider flexible working hours.
As a partnership, we have a patient centred ethos and have built up strong links with the local community. We aim to be forward thinking in terms of technology and other efficiency strategies, without compromising on patient care. We place emphasis on maintaining a balance between work and home life. We also try to bring a personal touch to managing staff and work hard at creating a happy environment for the whole team.
We meet every day at 11 am for coffee, usually with admin, nursing and pharmacy staff. There's plenty of opportunity to get support from colleagues. We have regular clinical meetings with our district nurses, practice nurses and pharmacy staff. We employ our own senior pharmacist, as well as receiving pharmacotherapy time from the health board.
