Product Compliance Specialist (32-40 hours)
Who will join our Product Quality & Compliance team.
Kramp believes it is important that products, including packaging, offered on the market are safe for people and the environment. This is why there is a lot of legislation at national and international level that products must comply with before they can be sold. We call this product compliance. By monitoring legislation and regulations, making strategic choices for certain suppliers, recording and monitoring product data, continuously improving our processes, making agreements with suppliers, checking and testing products, and scanning the market for dangerous products, Kramp ensures that product compliance is an important part of its business operations.
What is your role?
Your specific tasks include:
1. Monitor and interpret product compliance regulations for Kramp's assortment and ensure that this knowledge is documented and shared;
2. Develop impact analyses and cross-functionally implement these processes towards the right department/stakeholders;
3. Lead (international) audits in the product compliance field for Kramp;
4. Responsible for the development, improvement, and monitoring of the product compliance process, like technical files;
5. Act as an ambassador for product compliance in the organization;
6. Work together with various internal and external stakeholders;
7. Advise colleagues within Kramp where you are the expert and contact point.
Your team:
You will work together with 5 colleagues in a dynamic and driven Product Quality & Compliance team in Varsseveld and you will report to the Manager Product Quality & Compliance.
Who are you?
For this job, we have a couple of requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree preferably in business administration, law, or other relevant field.
2. 2+ years’ experience in (European) product compliance legislation (preferred in one or more of these topics: CE marking, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Machine regulation, PPE).
3. You are confident and have experience in independently initiating and leading projects.
4. You can extract insights from data (e.g. Excel, Tableau) and translate them into advice.
5. You like a challenging and flexible position in a growing environment.
6. You have excellent spoken and written skills in English and Dutch due to the international nature of the position.
7. Openness to travel to Varsseveld 2 times a week.
