Our client is looking for an HR Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work within a busy HR team. You will assist with a variety of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and a variety of general administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
* Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and preparing offer letters.
* Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation, undertaking pre-employment checks and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
* Help manage employee queries, assist in the preparation of HR documents, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
* Assist with various HR projects and initiatives, including intranet updates, training sessions, and performance reviews.
* Maintain and update the HR database and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
* Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed and support compliance requirements.
Skills and Knowledge
* At least 2 years previous experience in an administrative role is required, preferably gained within a professional services environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
