Are you a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for optimising production processes? We are looking for a Production Planner to join our dynamic team within the Supply Chain department.
The Role:
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customer orders are delivered on time, every time. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing the efficient planning of our production lines, driving both safety and productivity to new heights.
Key Responsibilities: -Production Planner (Manufacturing) - Chirnside, Berwickshire
* Efficient Production Planning : Manage and implement planning to ensure smooth production line operation, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
* Collaboration for Success : Work closely with the Customer Service, Sales, and Operations teams to guarantee customer satisfaction and efficient processes.
* Safety & Efficiency Focus : Prioritize safety at all times while striving for continuous improvements in production efficiency.
* Inventory Control : Oversee the management of raw materials (SFG) and finished goods (FG) to ensure we’re always ready to meet demand.
* Optimising Capacity : Strive to enhance production capacity and ensure production lines operate at peak efficiency.
* 5S Maintenance : Ensure your work areas are kept in line with our strict 5S standards to create a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
* Other Duties : Support various business needs as directed by the Supply Chain Manager.
The Ideal Candidate: -Production Planner (Manufacturing) - Chirnside, Berwickshire
You will be a great communicator and team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With strong organisational skills, you can efficiently prioritize tasks and tackle challenges head-on.
* Tech Savvy : Solid understanding of Excel and good computer skills.
* Production Knowledge : A background in production operations is a plus, but not required.
* Education : At least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics.
* Collaborative & Independent : You’re equally comfortable working as part of a team or taking ownership of tasks independently.
