We have an opportunity for a General Duties Assistant to join our team at Hinkley Point C, Somerset, TA5 1UD. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am-4pm.
Working within the Support Services, you will be a highly motivated individual, responsible for delivering key support across the delivery functions on the contract. You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a premier client service in line with SLA's and it is expected that the GDA will embrace and adopt an environment of continuous improvement and actively contribute to the success of the department.
The General Duties Assistant may also be expected to both cross train & work within other Support Services Delivery Lines and the Client Services Team. You will also be responsible for contributing to KPI's aligned within the HPC agreement.
Key Responsibilities
1. To work as part of a multi-skilled team in providing the service requirements of the Support Team.
2. Reactive tasks and customer requests.
3. Porterage duties.
4. Room set up and office moves/workspace re-engineering.
5. First line Fault fix for Cannon MFD'S.
6. Liaising with HPC personnel.
7. To comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at work act.
8. To comply with all G4S policies and processes as required.
9. To assist with the mobilization of new services.
10. Providing/checking/replacing office consumables.
11. Testing of building systems.
12. Liaising/collecting from suppliers.
13. Transporting furniture and other assets to and from storage units.
14. And any other duties as reasonably requested.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Strong Customer Service Skills.
2. Able to work as part of a multi-skilled team.
3. Comfortable with manual handling.
4. Ability to carry out Customer/Client requests.
5. Competent on essential devices i.e., Stair walker.
6. Driving licence.
7. The post holder needs to be ambitious and have a solutions based approach to achieving success, be literate and numerate, be dynamic and resourceful with good people skills and should also be aware of and comply with the Data Protection Act.
